How to do it:

Upon waking up, before doing anything else, especially grabbing your phone.

1. Grab a pen and your journal and start writing.

2. Write until you’ve filled 3 pages, or set a timer for 10 minutes (You choose).

2. Do not over-think Morning Pages: just let whatever stream of thoughts that cross your mind flow onto the page.

3. Do it again tomorrow.

Why do it:

Morning Pages provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritize and synchronize the day at hand.

*There is no wrong way to do Morning Pages* – they are not high art. They are not even “writing.” They are about anything and everything that crosses your mind– and they are for your eyes only.

When to do it:

Daily in the Morning
