Oil Pulling
A Food ritual for improving your Health
How to do it:
1. Put a spoon full of coconut or sesame oil into your mouth (preferably on an empty stomach)
2. Swish around your mouth for 5 - 20 minutes. The longer you swish, the more effective it is.
3. Spit all of the oil out into a waste basket
Note: Do not swallow it. And do not spit into a sink or toilet, as it will clog drains.
4. Smile at yourself in the mirror.
Why do it:
Swishing coconut oil around in the mouth helps remove bacteria and prevent plaque buildup. It’s also known as Kavala Graha, the ancient Ayurvedic practice.
