How to do it:

1. Set your space with a comfortable place to sit and all the materials you will need.

Optional: To add extra ambience and intention, you can light a candle, burn some incense or have some sacred objects near you.

2. Focus on what it is that you want to call in/create in this next moon phase (month).

3. Visualize a moment where each item has already happened.

4. Write on the piece of paper all of your intentions.

4. When you are finished, fold the paper.

6. Go outside, with your paper and some water to a place where there is dirt that you can dig in. With your hands or a small shovel, dig a little hole deep enough to put your piece of paper in.

7. Put the paper with your intentions in the hole and cover it with soil, just as you would plant a seed.

8. Pour the water over the freshly planted seed.

9. Tap into the feeling of gratitude, and thank the Moon and Universe to complete the ritual.

Why do it:

The new moon is a blank page, a fresh start, a moment to turn inward and consider what we want to call into our lives. Setting intention with the New moon is a way to connect with the natural cycles and to what our deepest desires are.
