A Reminder ritual for Focus
How to do it:
Give yourself some time first thing in the morning before checking your phone.
Set up an alarm three times a day to check emails and social media apps and give yourself a time limit. for example; Lunchtime, later in the afternoon, and in the evening for 30 minutes each.
The first block is preferably after finishing a good chunk of work.
The evening block is preferably a few hours before falling asleep.
Why do it:
When trying to stay focused on the tasks at hand, the constant checking of the phone can become a huge distraction, and keep the brain buzzing. Implementing this ritual into your daily life will help boost you focus, discipline and productivity.
