How to do it:

  1. While taking a shower, feel the water wash over your body.

  2. Visualize or imagine the water washing away all negativity that you are ready to release.

    This can be frustrations from work, the residual feeling from an argument, stress, or any thoughts that are weighing you down.

  3. Allow the water to carry it all down the drain so that when you step out of the shower, you are feeling fresh and clean on every level.


Why do it:

The water is physically washing off dirt, sweat, and all that we want to release from our bodies. With intention, the water can also be used to wash emotions and energy that are ready to be released down the drain. Since showering is something that is part of the daily routine, this is an excellent way to be present and utilize the power of a shower to its fullest potential.
